ACTIVITIES IN MY NEIGHBORHOODS AND MY LIFE BY ALEJANDRA CADAVID ECHEVERRY

I name is Alejandra Cadavid. I’m twenty one years old. I live in San Joaquin in Medellin. My neighborhoods that is convenient for my. I’m going to bakery everyday. On morning a buy up the breakfast. Me like donut and hot bread.

In my neighborhoods also have drugstore, beauty parlor and supermarket. On weekend go to beauty parlor fix hair and nails.

In my neighborhood I have some friends. I go out bicycling on Saturday mornings with them. In the afternoon we buy ice cream.

There are three malls near my house. They are: Carrefour (jumbo), makro and homecenter. They are very important in Medellin.

My uncle lives near my house. He has three children. Their names are: Alejandro, Angela Maria and Lina Marcela. His wife´s  Virginia. She is a retired Teacher. I love them a lot. They are very important in mi life. My other family is very significant for my too.

I go to church with my mother every Sunday at eleven o’clock. After that,  I go out to walk with my mother in the neighborhood and we visit my family: my uncles, my aunts and my cousin. At night I go out with my boyfriend to drink and to eat.

On Monday, I get up at seven o’clock, and I have breakfast. I watch tv too. I after take a shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, wash my face and brush my hair.

I finish university at 12 noon after that. I eat lunch in my house with my brother and my mother. I usually sleep after lunch for one hour.

I eat dinner at seven o’clock. I listen to the radio and read a book. Later, I talk the phone with my boyfriend. I go to bed at nine oh twelve go to bed at sleep.

My routine.

Hi, mi name is lucero, and I am a spolitical Science student. I don't have a really routine but there are some things that i usually do in my week. I get up so early because i need go to the college. After  to wake up, I take a shower next, I get dressed. Then I brush my hair. Later I eat breakfast. next I brush my teeth, and I am ready to go to the college.

I study in the university pontifician. I walk to the university everyday, and I take 5 minutes to get there. I spend around six hours in class, and I often spend around two hours in the library of the college. After that, I go back to home. Later, I eat lunch.  Next I rest, and I listen to music. Then I spend time on the computer. I work and read in the computer.

In the evening, I go to the gym, and I take different class like rumba and spinning. I usually do aerobics and tae-bo class.

At night, I have dinner around seven or eight pm. Next I prepare my things for the university. Then I read my class for the next day. Finally, I watch T.V while I spend time online. I sleep around ten or eleven p.m.

My Neighborhood.

I live in San Joaquin in Medellin City. My neighborhood is so quiet and silent. We have four supermarkets. There’s one church and so many restaurants in “La 70” one famous street, Also we have many clubs and bars. There are a couple of beautiful parks where people can play soccer and practice skate.

San Joaquin is too homely. There are great houses with beautiful architecture one of my favorite things.  The neighboring have too many pets. They walk with then pets all the time for the parks.

My neighbordhood is safe. There are some schools and a big university. We have too a couple malls. My neighborhood is a great place to live with good transport and great people. San Joaquin is peaceful and comfortable.

MY NEIGHBORHOOD

"THE YE"

I currently live in the town of Cisneros in northeastern Antioquia. It is not large town. It is weather is very nice. My house is located in the neighborhood "La Ye". It is great and a little noisy due to the circulating via Medellin - Puerto Berrio. It basically consists of a good sized park, surrounded by vegetation, and railways, and homes. It is trade is good and alternative. We can find not everything but if you need. It have good number of shops, fast - food service, some places to listen to music, and there is a pharmacy. It is near the main municipal park, and other tourist attractions. It is in front of the baccalaureate college I.E Cisneros.

 

It is known as the La Ye because the railroads form a kind of Y.

 

My neighborhood is very nice. It sometimes becomes unsafe. It is not because of crime, but by the increase in visits from people who use hallucinogenic substances late at night. It is situation that occurs far more frequently everywhere wherever we go. It is a busy place with “parches” of friends, and family to spend the afternoon.  

 

It is inhabitants are very diverse. They are some very introverted. They are charismatic, and talkative. They are polite, friendly, and among others.

 

It is my neighborhood. I live approximately six years ago in there. I live happy in there.

“MY EVERY DAY LIFE”

 

I am a very home. I enjoy spending time with my family, my boyfriend and my friends. I sometimes go to the gym with my mom. I read in my spare time. I don’t watch TV. I see movies, and listening to music. My daily routine is very quiet.

 

On week, I don’t get up early, except Fridays. I usually get up at 10:00 A.M. On weekends, I get up early. I travel on Fridays and Saturdays to study.  I after waking up:

I thank God for the new day. I go to the bathroom. I brush my teeth. I wash my face. I give them good morning to my family. I tend my bed. I organized my room, and do some of my homework. I eat breakfast (sometimes I prepare it). I talk to my mom about the previous day. I wash the dishes, after I go to my quart. I turn on my computer, and placed loud music. I listen to music very hard, while organizing my house. Then, I take a shower. I get dressed. I brush my hair. I comb my hair. I check my E-mail, and I check my social network. Then I make lunch, because my mom sometimes fails to finish before goes to work. I annoying my little brother for a while.  Then I eat lunch. I usually go say hi to my dad. He lives very near to my house.

 

My evenings are varied. Sometimes I just laziness. I go out somewhere to eat ice cream, and buy something. I spend time with my boyfriend, my family, and my friends. I see a good movie. I listen to music. I do homework.

 

At night, I have dinner in home. On weekends, I go to some restaurant to eat. I go to church, and go to bed late. On week, I usually go to bed early. I get undressed. I brush my teeth. I wash my face. Sometime I talk on the phone. I thank God for the day. I say good night to my family. Finally I go to bed at 10:30 P.M.

My neighborhood "la Gloria"

My neighborhood is very quiet because it is located far from noisy factories. It's called "la Gloria" there are many apartment buildings but many are empty because they are very expensive. I live in a house not apartment because the apartments are often very small with thin walls and noisy neighbors.

In my quiet house every morning I get up early and take a shower without forgetting shave my face and combed my hair while my wife makes breakfast and after have breakfast together often she has cereal and I have coffee with milk and also eggs with corn bread usually we watch TV in the morning and we like the news.

I take the bus and go to my work and start my work at eight o'clock and return late at night.

In the neighborhood "la Gloria" we have a small park with slides and swings. There are young exercisers in the mornings and in the afternoon children play after school while Mrs. Maria walks her dog and Mr. Mario looks his grandchildren play on the swings.

A block from my house is a supermarket "Exito" with fast-food places and clothing stores but there’s no mall because there’s no movie theater and there are no restaurants or outdoor cafés. The service hours of the supermarket "Exito" is Monday to Saturday from half past eight in the morning until nine at night and on Sunday and holidays from nine o'clock to eight p.m.

Sometimes my friends ask me:

-       How often do you go to the supermarket “ Exito”?

I answer that very little because I prefer the marketplace because everything is cheap.

-       How do you like the fast-food places in the supermarket “ Exito”?

They’re not bad. I mean, they’re cheap.

Next to the supermarket “Exito” is the cemetery. It’s very old and currently has very few people buried and decided to make a park cemetery. It’s a nice and quiet with flowers and many birds. It’s open every day of the week and the weekend we celebrate the Eucharist. In my neighborhood we have two schools and a clinic besides Catholic Church and three Christian churches.

Ten minutes from my neighborhood is the “Parque Acuático Ditaires” with slides and wave pool and also semi-Olympic pool and sauna and Turkish.

Next to the “Parque Acuático Ditaires” is the “Estadio Metropolitano Ciudad de Itagui”. The stadium was opened in 1994 and can accommodate 12,000 spectators.

Marcela's Neighborhood

My name is Marcela Oliveros Rojas. I live in Bello. The neighborhood where I live is called AMAZONIA, top of CABAÑAS.

AMAZONIA is a citadel residential  with 12 sets  houses and apartments. My set called MANAOS. Is the first. Is an apartment complex with two towers of 14 floors each. MANAOS is very nice. has large green areas full of trees and flowers, a park for children, 2 pools a for adults and one for children, a large parking lot, a living room nice and great for parties and meetings. The apartments are large and comfortable with a nice view and quiet. Has very good transport service to Bello and Medellin. It is near the Madera station, the highway north and the Medellin-Bogota.

MANAOS is near of supermarkets. There are two gyms. There are a lot of restaurants. There are a big sports facilities. There are three schools. There is a small church. There is a drugstore. There is a food boulevard. There are no clubs. There are two nice kindergartens and There is a big  mental hospital.

MANAOS is safe, convenient, large, quiet, familial, people who live there are very friendly and polite. I really like living here because it is the ideal place for the family.

Marcela's Routines

On Friday, I usually get up at 8:00 am. I always thank God for the new day. I take a shower. I get dressed to go to study. I often make breakfast of fruit and cereal. I brush my teeth. I usually brush my hair. Sometimes I check the mail. I study  for English class. Sometimes I send some e-mails. I organize my bag. I take lunch at 12:30. I brush my teeth and at 1:00 pm I go to COLOMBO AMERICANO. I always take the bus to the Madera station. I go to the hospital station and take the bus Circular conatra. It  brings me one block from COLOMBO AMERICANO. I arrive to class at 2:00 pm, I always take a break at 4pm. at 6: 00pm. I go home. I usually eat a lot of  snacks and go to my room. I  relax and watch movies. Finally I go to sleep.

On Saturdays, I get up at 10:00 am. I often drink coffee with cookies. I take a shower. I get dressed to be home. Sometimes I prepare lunch. I take lunch at 1:00 pm. I brush my teeth. I sleep an hour. I always watch movies on TV at 4:00 pm. Later I take a shower. Finally I get dressed to go out with my friends to the movies, eat ice cream, have a beer or go a party.

I usually get up at 10:00 A.M,  except weekends, where I get up early study questions. after waking up, I thank God for the new day, go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, wash my face and I am ready to give my family good morning, I tend my bed, organized my room and do some of my homework, then I eat breakfast (sometimes I prepare it), I talk to my mom about the previous day, then pick up the table, wash the dishes and go to my quart. I turn on my computer and placed loud music, which I listen to while doing my crafts home, once you finish them, take a shower, get dressed, comb my hair, I organize myself and check my E-mail, check my social network and then I get ready to finish preparing lunch, which my mom sometimes fail to finish because it must go to work, annoying my little brother for a while, then had lunch together. I usually then go say hi to my dad, who lives very close to my house.

¡my crazy and safe neigborhood!

My name is Natalia Andrea Gómez Botero. I am 18 years old and I live in Santuario Antioquia. in Santuario there is a neighborhood called (puente nuevo). It is quite colorful and noisy, and safe and transited as well. Bellow  my house there´s a taxi company called (cotraelsa), and I must say that these guys are quite annoying and noisy too.
In front of my house. There´s a brook, and we call it ( la marinilla).It is not the most beautiful, but it is the closest thing we have to look at the sea.
Crossing it. There´s a nice park called (lineal),but it is the seems more like a park for couples.
In my neighborhood there´s one of the main entrances to town. Every tourist goes through it.
In my neighborhood, there´s   a the bus company too. It is called (transoriente). It allows us to travel to other towns, and to Medellín.
and finally.
In my neigborhood. There´s  a the typical store where you can find necessary things.

There´s a little supermerket.
There´s a new barbershop, and of course there are many houses around  mine.

The wednesdays. first, I get up early and take a breakfast. Then I take a shower, and  get dressed. After that, I walk the dog for one hour. Later, I go to the practice violin, but I go to the churh too. Finally, I back home to sleep.
The saturdays. first, I get up late. Then  I clean the house, and  I take a shower. After that,
I go to the practice with the Young Symphonic. Later,I go out with my friends or I go to the cinema,
 but I eat out sometimes. Finally, I stay at home Reading a book .

My neighborhood is Belen.  There are a lot of banks, beautiful parks and nice and cheap restaurants, also some supermarkets.  There are several churches.  There aren´t any police stations, concert halls or stadiums.  I choose my neighborhood because it´s very convenient.

 

I usually get up at 5 o`clock then I take a daily a pill before breakfast. After that I take a shower. I always eat breakfast in my house.  I´m at 7 o`clock in my job.  I take lunch at 1 o`clock. I wash the dishes 3 times a day. I watch tv every day. I don`t like sitcoms.  I never watch tv in the morning.

 

I go to the supermarket on Saturdays in the morning with my husband and my son.  Later we go to the park or the swimming pool. Then we go to the shopping center. We have a lot of fun. We love weekends.   

My neighborhood

I live in Belén Aliadas, with my mom and my sister. We live in a small condominium. My neighborhood is very beautiful, quiet and it is very small. In this neighborhood there are not many places to go out, only there’s a church, a park, and there are some restaurants.

In my weekly routine I get up early every day to go to the university. In the afternoon I study and I do my homework. Then I usually go to a gym near my neighborhood and sometimes I go swimming. I return home at night. I have dinner with my family and finally I go to sleep.

On my weekends, I often go out to eat to the restautant in my neighborhood, some restaurants are very good. I really like their food. On sundays in the morning sometimes I go to church and then I spend the evening with my family, my grandparents and my cousin.

I live in loma de los bernal with my mother and my father .

my neighborhood is small but has beautiful  places.

There are a couple of  churchs , there  are some parks, there are three restaurants, there are some expensive supermarkets , there are a lot of new apartament buildings , there is a funny mall , there are a lot of parkland, there is a mountain called      “ hill of three crosses “,  there are some bus stations and there are a Lot of soccer fields.

I get up at eigth o clock. I take  a shower . I have breakfast and I brush my teeth. Then I give my dog a walk in my neighborhood  and  I go home. At 9:00 am I`m going to  college to study and  share with my friends, at 1:00 pm  I lunch , then sleep and finally i go to the gym.

I like going to the mall in my  neighborhood , going to parties, eating in restaurant, going to mass every sunday .

I`m happy in my neighborhood , I have friends, family and a very quiet life.

MY NEIGHBORHOOD

 

I´m Diana Salazar. I live in Belen . This is a big neighborhood in Medellín. I live happy in this neighborhood. There are a lot supermarkets. there is a shopping center.  there are a couple of churches near my house. There´s no stadium. There are some Parks. There are a lot of good schools. I have an airport near my neighborhood. There´s a movi theater and  in the shopping center. There are a lot of expensive restaurants. There´s  a nice neighborhood.  I live happy .

 

 

MY ROUTING IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD.

 

I live in Belen in Azalea del Parque Residential Unit. There´s a new swimming pool.  I get up at 5:30 AM to swin. After that I take my children to school which is located next to my unit. At night after I finish my labor day I go to the mall with my family. My children play in the amusement park While I go to the supermarket. Which is located inside the mall. on Weekends I go with my children to soccer training in the park, and after that we go to my parents´ who live near my house.

What is  a  my morning like in my home and my neighborhood 

I live in castilla.  In my neighborhood the mornings are quiet. I get up early every day. I check my menssages and have breakfast with my mom. I go to the college class  at 6:00 am. My college is in Belen. I´m with my friends every day studying.

In Castilla there are some restaurants and there are a lot of supermarkets. There are a couple of Small Parks. I go running around here  on weekends. There are some little boutiques. There are a couple of gyms. There´s a big church around here where a lot of  people  go on weekends. There are small pubs of rock, metal, salsa. They´re crossover.  There isn´t a movie theater, but there there are  big TVs to watch football.

I return my house at  night every day. I eat  dinner and talk with my family. I check my homework.  I use internet. I sleep after 12 midnight.
